Park Ave Acura

Park Ave Acura was once again the Presenting Sponsor of the 3rd Annual Clark UNICO Italian American Festival.  This year's Festival took place October 9th, 10th, and 11th at the Clark Municipal complex.  Park Ave Acura  had a car on display as well as donating a 42" Flat Screen TV for a raffle.  We also held a paid raffle to win a bike and all proceeds were donated to the NJ Italian American Community for Abruzzo Earthquake Relief Fund.  Pictured below are l. Park Ave BMW & Park Ave Acura presented the 5th Annual Rochelle Park Oldies Concert on Thursday, August 13th, 2009.  Past performers include the Happenings, Johnny Maestro & the Brooklyn Bridge and Kenny Vance & the Planotones.  This year the Mahoney Brothers entertained all with their show "Jukebox Heroes" which brought acts from the past back to life and performers from the present right to Rochelle Park!  Park Ave has been the concert's presenting sponsor since the concert was created in 2005 by Ken Kovalcik, of Rochelle Park, for whom the concert is now held in memory of.

In keeping with our long tradition of support, Park Ave BMW will again one of the main sponsors of the Fred d'Elia Ridgewood Run on Monday, May 26th. Each year the Ridgewood Run attracts over 3500 world-class runners and weekend warriors and boasts a 32 year history. Beth Moras, former Ridgewood Run race director notes, "Because of Park Ave BMW's loyalty, support and sponsorship, we've reached world-class status as a running event, which is now hosting this year's USATF-NJ Masters Championship event". "Park Ave BMW has always rooted itself in the various towns and communities where we do business," says Roy Sommerhalter, Sr, owner. "We look forward to this event every year and look forward to offering our congratulations to the winners," Proceeds from the Ridgewood Run are distributed to the Social Services Association, Family Counseling Service, The College Club Fund and various charitable organizations.

A division of the New York, Susquehanna & Western Technical & Historical Society Inc. The purpose of this Committee is to restore the station to its turn-of- the century appearance with the intentions of displaying Maywood town history and railroad history within the building. Their main objective is to restore, revitalize and maintain the historic Victorian Style station. The Maywood train station has received certification of eligibility from the NJ Historical Preservation Office and has been placed on both the New Jersey and National Historical Registers. The station was identified as one of the oldest existing in the State of New Jersey still retaining most of its original character. Park Ave BMW/Park Ave Acura is proud to be a Silver Level Sponsor of the Historical Committee's restoration of the Maywood Train Station.

Park Ave Acura enjoyed being the Presenting Sponsor of the 2nd Annual Clark UNICO Italian American Festival.  The Festival took place October 10th, 11th, and 12th at the Clark Municipal complex.  Park Ave Acura provided a free raffle for a cruise bike, free T-shirts as well as outfitting the volunteers with their staff shirts.  Park Ave Acura also donated a 42" Flat Screen TV to the UNICO Organization for their scholarship fundraising raffle.  Park Ave Acura Sales Manager, Moreno Rimmaudo and his wife Roberta were on hand to answer questions and had out T-shirts. They also brought a brand new 2009 TL to display.

Park Ave BMW / Park Ave Acura will once again be the Major/Gold Medal sponsor of the annual MAYWOOD RUN being held Saturday, May 17, 2008. Park Ave Auto Group has been a major sponsor of this event since its inception in 1994. The Park Ave BMW Grand Prize will be awarded to Top Male Runner. The Park Ave Acura Grand Prize will be awarded to Top Female Runner.
