How to Adjust Acura Seating and Temperature Controls

If you’ve been noticing discomfort while sitting or temperature differences while driving in your Acura around North Jersey, it might be time to figure out how to properly adjust your seats and/or temperature controls. Adjusting Your Seating

To adjust height, distance, or cushion angle, use the horizontal bar on the side of your seat. If you push it backwards, your seat will move the corresponding way. To adjust the seat back angle, you will use the vertical bar next to the horizontal bar. In non-Advance models, to adjust lumbar support you will use the circular button to change it from up and down or in and out.

On An RDX With Advance Seating

To change the lumbar support on Acura RDX models with Advance Seating, you have the circular button option with a toggle switch. The Advance Package seat features appear on a display screen, and you can select the feature you want to activate using the toggle switch and then the circular button to adjust. When you?re finished, press the touchpad to close the display.

Fixing Your Seat Temperature Control in Your Acura in North Jersey

Since North Jersey weather can be unpredictable and very cold, it’s important that drivers who purchase an Acura from our Acura dealership know how to change their seating temperatures. On an RDX with the Advance Package, press auto to synchronize seat with climate control. For manual control, press the heating or ventilation button. Press it once for high, twice for middle, and three times for low.
