Are you gearing up to purchase a new Acura? Our team at Park Avenue Acura is ready and waiting to help you find the model you’ve been looking for, and we can also assist you with trading in your current ride for credit towards the price of a new sedan or SUV.

Kickstarting the Trade-In Process

Our professionals can help you move forward with the car-buying process, and we recommend that you take the first step by using our trade-in value estimator. This easy-to-use online tool will generate a rough estimate of your car’s worth so you won’t be surprised when you arrive at the dealership.

In order to complete this form, you will need the year, make, model, and style of your car. To find some of this information, you may need your car’s vehicle identification number, or VIN, for an online search. This sequence is specific to your vehicle and can be located by looking at the base of the windshield on the driver’s side or on the Vehicle Certification Label on the inside of your car. Your registration and insurance documents should also list your VIN number.

Trade-In Your Vehicle at Our Paramus Area Acura Dealer

After you have gotten an estimate online, you will bring your current vehicle to have a value appraisal at our Paramus area dealer. As you never get a second chance to make a first impression, we recommend that you clean the interior and exterior your vehicle prior to your scheduled appraisal, removing any debris and vacuuming the trunk and cabin.

We also recommend having your vehicle inspected by a certified mechanic to make sure it meets New Jersey requirements for emissions and safety standards. If you have kept track of your maintenance records over the years, it is also a plus to bring those along!

When you receive your appraisal, it is important to consider external factors that can impact the price we determine. These components can include what our current inventory looks like at Park Avenue Acura and prices for vehicles similar to yours that were sent to auction.

Still have questions? Please don’t hesitate to contact us today and learn more about the trade-in process!
